Mostly the Grateful Dead, but also other late-60's/early 70's west coast weirdness: Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Country Joe and the Fish, the Byrds, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Flying Burrito Brothers, etc.
