ABOUT

My name is Austin Mullis, but most call me AJ. I've been playing electric guitar, mostly in the field of metal genres, as well as some kinds of rock and country, for around 6 years. I have never been in a band but have had some finite experience playing with other musicians in jam sessions. I am very passionate about guitar and at this point want nothing more than to put my skills into use with other musicians. I would prefer to be in a metal band. Something heavy like metalcore, deathcore (though I have less experience playing deathcore specifically but can expand on it easily), alt metal, or anything in between. I am also open to any kind of rock. That being said I do have experience with vocals. I practice metal vocal techniques like screaming and enjoy it as much as I do guitar. I am also open to this position if it is needed in a band. Let's just say I have been told I'm surprisingly good at it. Regardless I am over all just passionate about making music and want to get my foot in the door of doing it more professionally. I must also add that I am currently in the Army. So it is safe to assume I am best available on weekends but I can also be available typically between 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm during week days. I hope this is not a major issue.
