My name is Alan, I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old and have been playing since. At first it started out as something just for fun. But then as I played I started to enjoy it more and more. I took lessons from a basic private teacher for the first 2 years. After he could teach me no more, I moved on to dreams unlimited and took lessons from their main lead guitarist teacher. After that he really disciplined me, he taught me that with lead guitar it does not come easy. I learned that with lead guitar you must practice the same thing over and over. After I started getting good at that I started writing my own songs, but never had a band to play them with. I love to create a flowing experience similar to tool.
