Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Background Singer, Steel guitar.

Looking for a solid Rock & Roll bass player. Must understand dynamics, arrangements, and how to function in a combo where you aren't the center of attention; Someone that considers themselves a bass player first and enjoys that role. I.e., if all your profile pics are you playing guitar, well... Ability to sing harmony backing vocals a plus, but am not looking for other lead singers.

Also looking for powerful but sensible Rock & Roll drummer with solid meter, groove, dynamics, and a sense for song arrangements. Not looking for singing drummers.
Los Angeles native Alan Thomas’ proclivity for music reared its head at six or seven years old when he took a liking to hitting the furniture with a pair of Phillips head screw drivers. No one made the connection until sometime later when Alan was caught stealing a pair of real drum sticks from the school orchestra.

Fast forward a bunch of years and Alan is now a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, and veteran of many almost completely unheard-of L.A. bands such as Chum, Effu, Boyd & Floyd, The Tall Chinesers, Small Favours, The Spectyrs and many others which are best (and pretty much have been) forgotten.

Alan has performed as a drummer, guitarist, bassist, and singer at many of Southern California's best music venues, and very nearly all of the worst ones. In addition, Alan has performed in musical theater productions, worked in post-production sound for film and television.
