I am truly my mother's child; my father's son.
I am a perfect mixture of my parents. My father was not a well man and had to provide for us as he struggled to live everyday. That gave me inner strength--the kind you can't see and a will that won't give up. As a healthy young athlete and now as a man, I have an inner strength that will not quit.
My mom? Education, respect and pride about who we were, was instilled in me from her. I try to represent them even though they have been deceased for over half my life. They taught me and my sis very well.
I have played a piano as long as I can remember. I was formally taught at the Philadelphia Music Conservatory, but being raised in church provided me with a "soul" for music. I've performed professionally since age 16 beginning with the MFSB Orchestra. I had many stops along the way accompanying many famous artists, and I got my "Stage Chops" on point in the Pacific NW. The talent was rich and the NW music experience brought me onto the main stage time and time again.
In this season of my career I'm concentrating on a couple things--living a happy, healthy life and enjoying some straight up "Funk", Jazz, R&B and of course, Gospel music. I KNOW from Whom all Blessings flow.
I thank God for my family, and thank THEM for hanging in there with me and the rigors a musician deals with daily. I love you ALL for a lifetime.
