My name is Alexander Bankuti. I have been playing drums since i was thirteen. I come from a musical family and grew up listening to classic rock, jam bands (Grateful Dead, Phish etc.) and Frank Zappa (a category all his own). I enjoy a wide variety of musical genres including jazz, fusion, blues, punk, metal, funk, modern rock, classic country, folk, and classical. I am most comfortable in a rock setting but am willing and able to learn a wide array of music. I love playing drums. I am a fast learner and always welcome a challenge.

EQUIPMENT
I have a 4 pice Ludwig set. Typically, I use a 20" Sabian "mini bell" ride, a 17" Z custom crash, and a and a set of Sabian high hats. I have a DW 5000 single pedal. I also have a couple cow bells, a plastic percussion block, another ride and a splash.
