ABOUT

I am searching for a "road ready" band (Eau Claire Area). I have played in two bands over the course of the last 8 years. Although I enjoy the band I am working with now I'm a bit anxious to do more traveling and play more frequently. I've been around music all my life and have worked with a variety of different musicians, while learning the meaning of practice, the avoidance of band drama, and the tightness of a good show.
My top drummimng influences include: Matt Halpern, Matt Garska, Larnell Lewis, Thomas Lang, Derek Roddy and Hannes Grossman of Obscura. I also just recently returned from Brisbane, Australia where I did some work with Troy Wright of the band "Plini" studying more with Poly-rhythms, limb independence, and fill construction.

I'm used to working with individuals who appreciate and respect different styles of music. Although I would be interested in joining an established/experienced band full-time, I am also open to filling in for bands as needed and contract work as well.
