Looking to put together a group with essentially a mix of Rock and Electronic. Main bands are Radiohead, Led Zeppelin and Tame Impala. A mix of those styles in order to come up with our own style and material.
All original, possibly some covers just to experiment.
Those bands/styles are primary Radiohead (the last three albums), Electronic Downtempo/Ambient/Trip Hop (Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Tycho, Bonobo, Mount Kimbie, Solvent, Adam Johnson, Ochre, Apparat, Bjork, Air, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers), Led Zeppelin (also newer bands like Tame Impala, American Analog, Blind Melon, Kaki King, Incubus), Blues, Jazz and Funk are also considered. You don't need to know all the bands mentioned above. You can search for them at Spotify, Pandora or any other musical platform to get an idea.
We have our own rehearsal studio. Looking to jam and practice once or twice a week, late afternoon or any time during weekends.
We are looking for (male or female): drums/percussion, bass, keys/synth and vocals.
Looking for down to earth musicians that know how to express themselves well through the instrument, active and passionate about focusing on coming up with new material and are driven to play for the love of music, not for compensation. Money follows after.
No need to know music theory or be a virtuoso. If you learned to play the instrument by ear, even better. Positive energy and down to earth attitude are key.
Ages can go from 18 to 80 w/ reliable transportation and punctual.
