Hey, I’m Alex. I’m looking to either form or join a band as a singer and rhythm guitarist. My goal with a group is to rehearse regularly, get a good local following and play lots of local shows. Nowadays I listen to and play a lot of folk as a solo performer but want to go the rock route for a band. I want music with an infectious beat, memorable melodies and tight harmonies (this is key for me - think old school, like Eagles type harmonies). I do write original material. I have a fairly eclectic but old-school taste in music and enjoy a large variety of different styles including classic rock, folk, blues, indie, alt rock, 90's grunge, old punk, soul, bluegrass, and Americana.
