Hey Bandmixers--
Here's what it boils down to. My name is Alex.
I'm super committed to making big things happen in entertainment. I'm obsessed with Rock & Roll and theatrics. I'm big into Zeppelin, anything Chris Cornell, Jack White, Dave Growl, The Vines, David Bowie, and anything that rocks hard. I'm also very much into acoustic grooves.
As I head into my 30th year, I'm looking to revamp my musical life. My last project, Not Your Queens English, taught me a ton. I'm looking for a project where like minded (and talented) people are equally invested and driven.
CURRENTLY SEEKING:
- A drummer who's versed in acoustic and digital (have some cool New Yorkey sample ideas)
- A Bassist
- A Cellist?
My background: I'm an NYU trained Vocalist. I've been playing guitar since age 16. Drums around that time. Trumpet ages 10-18. Piano since 6. Band camp legit. And plenty of theatrical and film experience as an actor.
To date, I've released 2 solo albums, ELECTRI-FI (2011) and Sweet Nimbus Nothings EP (2009). With my band Not Your Queens English, I released some singles (recorded and live) but no albums. I intend to change that in 2017.
