My father played drums with a rock band professionally in Los Angeles throughout the 90's and early 2000's (Concrete Blonde). He has taught me everything I know about drums and music in general, and inspired me to be a drummer in a band one day like him. I've been playing the drums since my earliest memory of my father when he put 2 sticks in my hand and put me behind a drumkit. I just graduated highschool and am currently a freshman in community college. I played competitively in the snare line for my highschools marching band for 4 consecutive years until I graduated (we won multiple competitions across California). It was a real honor and opened my eyes to different styles of percussion and drumming. I have an electronic drum set in my room which I practice on because of noise complaints and restrictions in my apartment. Ideally, I would love to get a real drum set and a place to play it, so I can make music with other musicians together and we can play and have fun as loud as we possibly want.
