I really just want to play with people for whatever genre right now. I did everything in school (Jazz Band, show choir back-up band, concert band, marching band) so I have diversity and chops for whatever genre. I've been playing music for ~20 years and just love doing it. I've played for metal groups, reggae, pop, done backing for hip-hop shows, rock gigs, whatever. I just really love playing drums.

I'm pretty easy to work with, pleasant/charismatic dude that does stand-up for funsies so it's not like you're going to be dealing with a self-righteous prick.

Creatively, I'm probably most interested in exploring something more sonically similar to Sleep Token, Spiritbox, Karnivool, etc. The more I age the more I'm drawn to those floaty and hypnotic sections clashing against heavier, metallic textures. I'm also huge on the blues, classic rock, that OLD school prog, psychedelic rock, and have an ear for jazz. Odd meters are my friend.

In terms of creating something from scratch, my girlfriend is a choice vocalist (had a professional career in a genre she no longer has passion for) and we would like to do something we'rd for those inclined. Think Spiritbox/Sleep Token with a London Grammar overtone.

I'm for hire for anyone
