ABOUT

Howard can regularly be found performing with SF East Bay bands: StrangeBrew (Club/Dance, HipHop, Rock), Shuffle (80s, 90s, Country), and Better Days (90s Alt-Rock). Past projects include MusicLore (Acousti-Pop, R&B, Dance), Jack Quigley Souled Out (Americana), Eddie Neon (Blues), the Hurricane Band (Rock, Pop, Country), the Turbo Fuegos (Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Country), Evan Thomas & Papa's Garage (Blues), Blind To Reason (Blues, Americana), and Meritage (Pop, R&B, Country).
Howard began his musical career growing up with a Hammond church organ in his home and formal lessons as a drummer and percussionist, adding horns and flute in middle school, and back to playing drums in the High School Jazz Band. Howard switched full-time to guitar as a teenager to play the LA & Hollywood nightclub scene (initially having to be picked up for rehearsals and gigs, being too young to drive!). At 19, Howard switched to bass out of necessity while traveling with a show band performing in resorts and hotels throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. In addition to live music group performance, Howard has been an instrumentalist in musical stage orchestras (LA, Chicago, and SF) including Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, High School Musical, Annie, Damn Yankees, and many others.

We want you to come join the fun! During the day, there will be 6 new beers, 2 food trucks and 2 bands. So much is going on that we needed to expand our hours. Tasting Room will be open 10 am – 10 pm!!!

Come early and enjoy our new Virtuous Black IPA with cold brewed coffee paired with some great brunch pastries from Sweet & Mellow. Or maybe pair their pastries with Celia’s Mexican Chocolate Stout! At 5 pm we’ll kick it into dinner fare provided by Little Red Riding truck. German food and beer, yum!!! Music starts at noon with Dueling Guitars playing until 4 pm. A Tasting Room favorite, Better Days, will close the night playing 5:30 – 9:30 pm!
