I like all sorts of music. I sing, i play guitar, I dabble with the piano. I've been loving me some soprano and alto recorder lately. Search on fb for MusicManAllen.
I like to keep things balanced and in perspective. I want to play, i want to get out to play, but I have a wife and kids and I'm not looking to tour the world or even play all that often. Hard to be a dad if you don't give your family any of your time. So, not looking to practice 3x a week, not looking to tour.

Too many.
TBH, we all tend towards the music we listened to when were young and active. teens/20s. So, knowing that, I make a conscious effort to get out of my box, listen to new stuff, old stuff, things out of my genre... whatever.
Quite frankly, I think every musician should do this. I've found many songs that I truly appreciate that I never would have found if I didn't make the effort to have an open mind...even when I don't always feel like it.
