Allomancer is a heavy metal band inspired by the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, Death, Exodus, Falconer, Evile, Dio, and more. The riffs vary from hard tremolo chugging to chromatic patterns and harmonies. The vocal style reverberates classic metal with an emphasis on clean and melodic singing rather than hard screaming and growling.
The name Allomancer was inspired by the epic fantasy series "Mistborn" written by Brandon Sanderson. Although the name comes from a series of fantasy novels, and though much of it is heavily influenced by dark fantasy and science fiction, Allomancer is not exclusively a fantasy themed band.
