ABOUT

I was introduced to playing with musicians at a young age. My whole family is very musically centered so I have always “jammed” with either my uncles or my father who is a bassist. When I started middle school I began playing in my local church worship team at Cape Christian Fellowship. Along with playing at Cape Christian Fellowship from middle school to present, I was in a back up drummer in a band with my dad when I was 13 that played out at local bars. I quit because it was very hard for a 13 year old to play out (obviously). But I am very eager to get back into playing out at other places besides my local church.

Influences

What got me into music was my family without a doubt. My dad is a bassist and loves the Red Hot Chili Peppers so he strives to mimic the sound of their bassist Flea. Since I have always jammed with him my whole life, my greatest celebrity influence on the technique i use is Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
