American Attitude is a rock band from Jacksonville, Florida that is made up of four Citizen Soldiers who are actively serving in the military. The band initially formed in March 2007 to entertain their fellow Airmen at their base club. Within no time, American Attitude was receiving calls and emails to perform at other military bases and also civilian music venues all across the southeastern United States.
American Attitude is now nationally signed to GI Jams Records which was founded by the legendary hit songwriters, producers, artists and programmers Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers. Furthermore in 2011, GI Jams and American Attitude signed a global contract with EMI/Rhino Records! The band has garnered much attention for their fun and often light hearted songs. They have been fortunate enough to play hundreds of shows at both civilian venues and on military installations all along the east coast, and all the way out to Las Vegas! SEEKING LEAD MALE VOCALIST
American Attitude," a modern rock band that has been recording and performing for over half a decade - is searching for a skilled, motivated, and professional male lead vocalist/co-writer to help us keep our current momentum going, and assist in taking us to the next level. As for our musical sound and style, we write all original music; mainly hard rock, but we also have some songs with a hint of metal & punk, and we also love our ballads!
What we are seeking:
? We are looking for a professional front man who can engage the audience, work the stage, and capture their attention -- someone with star quality and the image to match
? Must have a good attitude, be reliable, punctual, a true team player and have motivation to help self-promote the band
? With the current state of the band, we don't have the time to train and instruct an inexperienced performer - so prior performance, band, and music business experience is strongly desired.
? Please, no drugs. We are currently serving in the military and cannot be associated with them. As for alcohol, we'll all drink together after the show!
? Military service experience is preferred, but not required

? We have a distribution agreement with Rhino Records (Warner Music Group) and currently have two songs that have been released worldwide on the GI Jams Compilation - Volume 1

? We are currently receiving national radio airplay in several states and have many new songs in the pipeline -- just waiting for YOU to add your special touch
