Hey y'all, I'm Amethyst! (AKA Baby Ringwald - I've been the lead singer for local Houston 80's band Molly & the Ringwalds since March 2022)
I'm a native Houstonian who's been musically involved my whole life. I grew up listening to classic rock, got a degree in music, sang classical, musical theater, and jazz, but have had the urge to return to my first love of rock music. I love meeting new people, feel comfortable onstage in front of crowds, and like to create a laid back vibe with the audience. I will sing other genres of course, but there's nothing quite like just letting loose with the vocal power of rock.
I also love collaborating with other musicians. I would definitely be open to performing with others, even joining a band, if the opportunity ever presents itself!
