Sup, We're three dudes in our early-mid twenties who are looking for a drummer for our band. Right now we're currently learning random covers playing them one then forgetting them while we try to find a drummer. That's where you can potentially come in; person reading this.
Do you like hitting things with sticks? What about odd time signatures, funky chords and high tenor male vocals? Still with me? Cool, You probably like a few modern Prog-leaning bands. which is perfect because that's exactly what we are (sort of)!
Alright time to give relevant details. We've been playing together in some form for about 3 years now. We have demos which range in varying degrees of completion. I'd be more than happy to provide them if you're interested.Be warned, they are not good. they were just recorded so we could have a record of our stuff, complete with copious amounts of errors. A huge influence on us is Coheed & Cambria. However our demos are probably more inline with Post hardcore. We're really looking for someone who enjoys playing a bit of everything and can bring their own flair to band. I really don't wish to micromanage what you'd be playing. Writing is a collaborative effort, ya know? We're not sure what direction we're going in musically we're waiting to really decide that when we get a drummer.
Right now we aren't too serious, but that's solely due to our lack of a competent drummer. We want to finish writing up a presentable ep and start playing shows.
I'm probably forgetting a fair bit, but if you're somehow interested feel free to hit me up. We can set up a day to jam and see how things go.
