Amy has been singing since she was a little girl, her dad was a stage carpenter for a major lighting and sound company; who worked with many famous singers and bands. She was born and raised in Simi Valley, California where she attended a performing arts school. Growing up Amy was exposed to many different types of music. Her love for music inspired her to pursue dance, eventually leading to competing and teaching dance to young children. Amy moved to Florida at 23 settling in Orlando in 2007. She sings soprano in her church choir, and enjoys a wide variety of music. It wasn’t until the past year after a local musician friend noticed her talent and pushed her into doing a few open mic nights following then with a few small gigs that she decided to pursue a career in singing. She later posted a video of herself singing on craigslist and was offered work from a local jazz musician, who started having her accompany him as a featured singer. The rest is history and she now sings locally in Central Florida venues doing jazz, soul, r&b, todays and yesterdays hits.
