Seasoned singer-songwriter for adult contemporary christian music... often grassroots crossover as well on personal projects. Not too much production on my own songs. I am an advanced keys player, seasoned music leader, and advanced singer. I have been trained by several vocal coaches over the years from Nashville, NYC and most recently the latest is the esteemed Jeremy Mossman from Carthage College... who works with Broadway and Off Broadway talent. I have come a looonng way, vocally, and can see a bright future ahead with my singing and song writing. My best asset is that I tend to write very well. I have lead three church's music programs for Team Kid(East Cooper Baptist Charleston SC 6,000 members), Celebrate Recovery(West Ashley Baptist 500 members then) and an entire church most recently in NC named Grace 210... as their interim director of music. I am not afraid to sing in the secular arena....professionally. I'm a spiritual, but not religious-y type. I sometimes curse and might drink a bit...but music is the real deal nonsense. I am an apprenticed home producer (I interned and was apprenticed professionally by the North Carolina Music Producer of the Year, Karen Kane, of Wilmington NC). I own a recording business now myself...which allows me to compound on my performances and other music endeavors with a well-tuned ear. I am usually asked by paying bands to substitute or come on board as a singer or I work with professionals for money This love to serve those who are learning as a volunteer to the community also. We are locals to Wilmington now after my husband retired early retirement we aren't leaving next so many who come and go through Wilmington. I have a small sized studio set up for now only...until insurance fixes our property. Hurricane Florence took our previous 1100 sq ft recording space and filled it with water. But I am recording some voiceover work and small set up recordings for others right now, at reasonable rates, in our temporary housing....but due to's limited in scope. As an aside for my personal music projects...for those who gig for me personallu. I reserve all rights and royalty rights/payments on my albums, if you gig for me, personally....for my personal songs. My husband is an attorney and understands Personal Property Law; we consider this a long term business decision for me to record, produce, write, or live any in semiprofessionally, volunteer, tutelage, or professionally speaking. I do it all. Thanks so much and hope that I can continue to learn and do....maybe with you!
