We love to dance play all percussion, so dust off that guiro, bring some maracas, or just come out and dance.
Once in a while you may play somebody elses drum, If, you make sure to ask the drums owner.
Phenominal belly dancing beats, so come out to practice your moves, or learn or teach some new ones.
My daughter and I will be there dancing the night away into the wee morning hours, usually from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. or longer if the po-pos let us, and the street roller uppers or street cleaners don't brush or roll us away. Be ther on Mill Ave. 10 - 12 behind my big fat greek restaurant, 12-2a.m. in front of the post office on 5th and mill right on the corner. Roll down your windows kind people and let the drums be your guide!

come one come all to our little drum circle that has existed for over 10 years!
bring your drum, guiro, tamborine, belly-dancing gear, and a friend or two. This drum circle keeps getting stronger, and all we need is you.
We start out in the public park between Big fat greek restaurant, and the movie theatre on Mill Ave. just roll down your windows and listen. @ midnight every Sat. night we travel from original spot to 5th st. and Mill in Tempe Az. in front of the post office.
All are welcome, just no trouble starters, this is a fun peaceful event you can feel comfortable about bringing you kids to. I bring my 3 1/2 year old. she never misses a Saturday, unless we are out of town, or sick. She is a belly dancing guitar playing Drummer in training. Ma-ma is teaching her right, amongst my friends who love to dance with her or play drums with her. Add skate board to her christmas list. She just was introduced to one. anyway come out after the bars close or in between a movie and dinner or what have you. we are not afraid to have fun and share it with those kind souls out there that just love music like we do.

Rula Bula, what can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. It's not a dive, yet it is my FAVORITE Irish pub/ hole in the wall. I always have exceptional service. Never had a complaint about management, employee's, bands, food or drink. Great atmosphere, great slew of musicians that roll through there. Expect to see music from Celtic rock, to blues, to rock, alternative, regae, jazz
Real music for real people. plus you throw in a guinness, or a black and blue(with blue moon) and your set for a delightful evening of music, food, spirits, and really good people. Irish or not. My favorite bartender was a greek god. I kid you not girls. And there is always something or someone for the men to look at as well. I have never seen a server or bartender, or manager that wasn't goodlooking and down to earth about it.
Walt Richardson-now here is a fellow who knows music. To say all I wish to about this gentleman would fill a plethora of novels. lets just say he is a great person, with alot of patience, non judgemental, able and willing to jam with all.
I have heard him do covers in various genres, and I have heard a handful of originals of his, and you close your eyes, and you are in music heaven!
