My name is Anastasia and I am a professional singer and songwriter. I moved to the United States from Russia (with love) last summer.
My band in Russia was very successful in our city of 300,000. We played a number of big gigs in clubs and outdoor events, while also playing live on a local television show. We're influenced by rock, classic rock, and alternative. We played mostly original music, as well as some covers by The Beatles, Green Day, and some others. I'm also into reggae, pop, blues, jazz, and open to other genres as well. Mainly, I want to play that rock and roll music!
I want to form a new band here in DC. I'd prefer to work with musicians with serious training or professional experience. You don't have to be serious all the time - but I do want people that are serious about making music that sounds good!
I'm looking to record and play gigs. I have some original music and I want to create new music as well.
I have a few possible guitar and bass players that may join in on the band, and I can play acoustic guitar/keyboard/piano as well.
That all being said, I am looking for the following:

* = This would be an excellent bonus. Preferably metro accessible!

If you have recordings online, please send me the link as well, because I would deifintitely prefer to hear your samples before we meet up. I am especially looking to play with people that want to meet up somewhere that is metro accessible and preferably in DC.
