ABOUT

The Gold Harvest formed in early 2012, in the back room of a north side apartment. Led by the songwriting of Andrew Wetmore, who shares vocals with wife Sofia Ceja Wetmore, they create songs about long nights of the soul and elegant wastes. Their work is counterpointed by Adam Lubin on banjo and mandolin, adding flourishes and depth. Shelley Miller, local singer/songwriting legend, adds percussion and drums, playing in an unusual and beautiful way. And Chris Hoss rumbles on the bass like a storm steadily approaching, menacing in the distance. They all come together with 4 part harmonies and arrangements destined to bring a frown to the happiest of faces. They play like their lives depend on it, like if they stop the whole world might crumble. Songs that are more sorrowful than wild. Perfect for coming down or rethinking the situation. Songs of sadness and regret. Songs of empty hallways and better times never to return.
