I've played pretty much my whole life stop me if you've heard this before.

I love jazz I love rock so in that way I've become more of a fusion along with other styles.
I did win an award for being able to top positions in my area in the Bay area.
I've played in big and small settings.and I've been lead drummer for a church over 25 years a worship leader and drummer an event organizer and a drum teacher.

I'm partly paralyzed on the left side of my body and that has never stopped me playing drums to a high level. although I am 52 and I've had to adjust my music's skills along with the fact the older you get sometimes some muscles get tighter on the left side.
but I believe I still have a lot left in the tank and there's a little drummer boy inside of me who wants to continue playing encouraging others to forget about their problems and younger musicians to dream about being a drummer.
I'm hoping since I'm in a new area and I know absolutely no one except for a few family in Dallas. to start small and work my way back up. you're a simple easy jazz gig or country song boom tap feel just to get to know people and build up my confidence in this area. by moving after being in California for almost my entire life I feel like I'm a freshman in high school having to work hard to let people notice Me again.

so please help me in this area and let me play.
one thing for certain whenever you get me I play with passion and I like bringing the team up with me.
and I love playing for my Lord Jesus Christ.

Buddy Rich like no duh and Joe English are two that obviously I looked at but in drums there was a drummer named Louie Weaver from Petra of course Joe English played for Paul McCartney and wings and then created his own Christian band.
there is a drummer for Johnny Carson show that was awesome and then a huge variety of drummers from all sorts of styles and bands.
but as I get older I think I love watching the younger ones and try it again some knowledge even from them to better who I am today.

at this moment I have one electric drum set. but I will be purchasing a small kit to do gigs if some places have a kit that would be great. like I said I'm restarting.
there was a time where I had four drum sets Ludwig was my favorite animal for.
