I play guitar (rhythm and some reluctant lead), do some writing, and sing (lead and backing). I have years of band / stage experience and some studio experience as well. I like playing a mix of originals (tend towards a more alt / power-pop sound) and funky deep covers (tunes that lend themselves to some improv, but are still recognizable with a fat groove).

Playing in a (mostly) covers band now, which is plenty of fun, but doesn't really do much scratch my power-pop or jamband itches. I enjoy improvisational jams every bit as much as a tight, edgy pop tune. I'd love to find / form a project that does one or both.

Hoping to hook up with some like-minded people who are looking to create a cool sound and have loads of fun without being heavy / super serious about it. Age doesn't matter to me if it doesn't matter to you, but it would probably be best if this wasn't your first rodeo.

Drop me a note at andystillcool if you're interested.
