There are musicians who break the mold, and then there’s Angela Bond. The dynamic flexibility of her vocals is reminiscent of the powerhouse blues and jazz greats. Armed with a songwriting degree from Berklee College of Music, her songwriting is also something to take note of. Both “Blessings” and “Life Gave Me the Blues” recently received 5 out of 5 ratings in the UK Songwriting Contest 2021. Angela released her Boundless EP in 2019, from KQuest Records. The title track “Blessings” continues to garner many plays on broadcast and satellite radio, and other tracks on the EP have become Spotify playlist favorites.
While the world locked down in 2020, Angela took time to record and release four more singles, “Future and a Hope,” “Build Me Up,” “Inside the World You Are,” and “Lucky.” She also added dance to her live show. Angela Bond breaks all molds, truly entertaining listeners with genres ranging from Latin Pop to Blues, Indie Pop and Alternative, and Inspirational music. Although she’s hard to classify, it isn’t hard to imagine once you get to know her. It’s just “Angela Bond.”
In 2021, Angela released “Happy With You,” which went straight to radio, “Cry Cry Cry,” which found a home on several popular Spotify playlists, and “Faith.” Now, she has begun performing again, with a mission to inspire audiences everywhere to reach for their dreams and never stop believing.
