Pianist, Composer and Arranger.

Angelo Di Leonforte has developed his improvisation and jazz harmony skills with the known pianist, Giovanni Mazzarino and has mastered orchestration and arrangement with Giuseppe Vasapolli.

In 2008 Angelo graduated with honors in the music department of the Sicilian Academy of Jazz Music "Enzo Randisi" in Piazza Armerina and in 2009 he earned a bachelor's degree in "Disciplines of Arts Music" with 110/110 and praise at University Kore in Enna, Sicliy.

He perfected improvisation and harmony Jazz in master classes instructed by world-renowned artists such as Barry Harris, Dado Moroni, Salvatore Bonafede, Bob Mintzer, Rosario Giuliani, Huw Warren, Steve Swallow, Danilo Rea, Kenny Werner , Jerry Bergonzi, Andy La Verne, and Francesco Cafiso.

From 2013 to 2014 Angelo improved his piano solo under the guidance of the pianist Riccardo Randisi, and studied of improvisation with the teacher Orazio Maugeri.

In December of 2014 he earned master's degree in Piano Jazz with 110/110 with praise and honorable mention at the Conservatory Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo.

In 2011 he participated as artist at the prestigious jazz "Vittoria Rotary Jazz Award" by Francesco Cafiso.

In April 2013 he performed at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Turin in the prestigious "National Award of Arts".

In 2014 he performed with his Trio and Giacomo Tantillo Quintet in the prestigious Contemporary Music Festival: Composers and Performers 2013 and 2014.

In 2014 he performed with the famous American gospel singer Cheryl Porter.

Educational experiences include teaching jazz piano at the music school "Ars Musica" of Enna, and teaching piano and improvisation techniques at the music school of music "Mousike" of Enna where currently instructs these courses.

From 2012 to 2014 he has been working as an accompanist for classes of jazz singing at the Music Conservatory Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo.

In December 2014 he won the prize with his trio best group obtaining the participation of law at the Tuscia Jazz Contest 2015. In the same month of December opens the new concert season 2014/15 of the founding group of The Brass Palermo with Vito Giordano Jazz Quartet .

From 2013 also adds to previous educational activities also at the Lizard Academy of Palermo and at the Academy of ArteMusica Caltagirone.
