MARC ANGELO & THE REASON
 
Seeking highly professional seasoned musicians with the following goals in mind: 
 
  1.  To quickly put together a working cover band with the following Genre’s in mind:  R&B, Funk, Classic Rock, Contemporary (muscle) Jazz, to include 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 00’s music.
  2.  Be open and willing to learn enough original material to play venues requiring some or all original material. Other band members may contribute to original material within the designated genre’s, but not required. 
  3.  Willing to rehearse no less than once a week and/or more when preparing for specific events; must be able to rehearse as required, and must be able to come to rehearsal prepared.  Approach to rehearsal is to develop a show band.
  4.  Musicians must be about excellence and dedicated, not just getting by; must have the right character and the right attitude, love playing, and have the desire to continue to grow musically; must be willing to fall under a musical director for guidance.
  5.  Must be able to play in the pocket, play at appropriate levels, play together rather than compete with other players, improvise appropriately, play to the crowd, follow instructions, and blend musically with other band members.  All musicians must understand dynamics.
  6.  Reading music is a plus but not a requirement. But at least, one must know your chords and notes on your instrument and able to play in other keys easily; Likewise, must be able to play without charts and sheet music and able to learn and retain material.
  7.  Musicians capable of background vocals is a big plus, but not a requirement.
  8.  Must be able to travel when necessary and be willing to play outside the area. 
  9.  Looking for musicians who can maintain a semblance of professionalism at all times 
10.  No drugs.
