ABOUT

I am a solo singer with classical training and several years experience singing professionally in opera, jazz, and more.

I began studying piano when I was five. In college, I began studying voice, mainly opera. Later I completed my master's in vocal performance, also in opera. I also studied musical theater, and participated in a young artists program in Brugge, Belgium. At the same time, I worked in a number of different venues, including jazz gigs, weddings, receptions, and various church services of many different faiths.

My sound is a concoction of the influences below. I have a strong belt, and can have an edge when I want to, or have a softer, smoother sound when needed. I can move between genres easily, depending on the venue and situation.
