Anibal Seminario is a renowned saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator. He studied at California State University, Long Beach on a full scholarship where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Jazz Performance. After graduating from CSULB, Seminario began working in the greater Los Angeles area as a freelance woodwind player, recording artist, and educator. He currently teaches at several Southern California high schools while also teaching private students at his home studio.

Anibal has performed with world-class artists such as, Alex Acuña, Nestor Torres, Ramon Stagnaro, Andrea Bocelli, Googoosh, Omid, James Morrison, John Fedchock among others. Seminario recently performed as part of the Jewish band (clarinet), Mostly Kosher, that performed at the Disney California Adventure Park, becoming the first Jewish band to ever perform at a Disneyland theme park.

Seminario is also an active arranger and musical director. He is the MD for the Peruvian musical “Dances of Peru” , a show that mixes elements of folklore Peruvian dance, acting and live music, where he arranges all the music, conducts a 12 piece live band and plays several woodwind instruments. Seminario is a member of Alex Acuña’s new latin jazz band and is the co-founder and director of "The Afro-Peruvian Jazz Orchestra" alongside Peruvian saxophonist Lorenzo Ferrero. Seminario is also a very active arranger for the Peruvian community as he has written several commissions for high schools in Peru and Cultural Organizations such as: Pro Jazz, Colegio Humboldt among others. He has performed on woodwind instruments in several countries including the United States, Chile, Peru, the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Georgia, Cyprus, Kuwait, Germany, Holland and Mexico.

Additionally, Anibal is a very active educator in his homeland city of Lima, Peru. He has been invited to lecture and give masterclasses at several institutions, such as the Pro Jazz, Tempo School of Music, Colegio Santísimo Nombre De Jesús, Colegio Alexander von Humboldt, the National Air Force Base and the National Conservatory of Music.
