Female vocalist seeks musicians. I have vocal training in live theatre and repertory/a capella chorus but would like to get some regular practice time with other musicians singing with a mic. Doesn't have to lead to gigs just for fun is fine. If you're looking to add a few female songs to your set list or add someone to do backups then contact me.

Influences
Vocally I appreciate Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera. A few songs I've practiced before are Linda Ronstadt-I've Been Cheated, Rolling Stones-Give Me Shelter, Derek and the Dominos-Little Wing. Songs I'd like to do are Melissa Etheridge-I'm The Only One, Cranberries-Zombie, Meredith Brooks-Bitch. Heavier songs I think I can pull off are Alice in Chains-Man in a Box, Ozzy Osbourne-Crazy Train. A tough one that I like is Pearl Jam-Yellow Ledbetter. Totally open to suggestions and can take constructive criticism. I have a good ear and a strong voice. I think with the right people and regular practice can sound really great. I've written a couple of originals as well, one a blues song and one a ballad. Have more rolling around in my head that I would like to put to music as well. Looking forward to some fun jam time or maybe even some open mics or gigs!
Oh and BTW I help set up and break down when playing out. No Diva here.
