I value creativity and/or the ability to write solid songs (or at least contribute) over being a virtuoso on any given instrument. Of course if you are good at both that's just icing on the cake.
Not very good at writing lyrics so it would be nice to find someone who is. I have been known to finish a song from beginning to end but because of the aforementioned I mostly just stick to music.
