Very specifically I provide black metal style vocals when it comes to metal. I have a very shrill sound that I would say is rather common in the black metal sound. I can also do some decent low growls more akin to the like of Skeletonwitch and TBDM, but only use that style sparingly. Additionally I can do rather hoarse guttural, but have yet to develop a technique that doesn't hurt my throat so much. Most of my lyrical content is composed of poetry, which is meant to inspire deep complex feelings of emotional turmoil.
As far as punk vocals go I take great inspiration from Joy Division, The Dead Kennedy's, and the Sex Pistols.
