I believe that a musician must appreciate all genres of music in order to either accommodate his band mates or the crowd they are playing for. I have to say my favorite genre of playing as either rhythm and blues and or every form of metal. My strongest belief is that musician will never be satisfied with his abilities that the only thing that gets them to that next step is the drive for constant Improvement

Influences
Metallica and Megadeth were the first two bands I decided to learn everything I could from them because once I learned them I would be able to produce any riff I could imagine on standard tuning. I then proceeded to look up Lamb of God music and Devil Driver and basically used the same Theory for drop tunings. Since I have become very diverse and I've been into a lot of Blues and playing with 7th notes and have proceeded to explore more complex chords and scales then what you see everyday my biggest influences myself and conquering my own plateaus and taking the next step

EQUIPMENT
I lost the my prize equipment that took me years to acquire. Now I have a Line 6 spider II 75W amp with a G1on ZOOM stomp box (amazing) which comes with over 100 looped drum Beats which can be slowed down or sped up to your liking and hundreds of preset guitar tones and WAH effects that you can Loop rite along with the drums and then solo over yourself... it's probably the best piece of equipment I've ever bought myself. Guitar wise I have a Dean MLX, a Strat, and a Dean Vendetta. The Dean MLX is my weapon of choice.
