Craigslist was not cutting it. Too many flakes and not having much luck. I have been playing guitar for 28 years and singing just about as long. I am a lower registered singer, so won't be able to do any hair metal stuff (not that I'd want to; no offense to those that do). I 'm looking for something different. I feel like the genres I picked were broad enough to get some players that are non-descript, but I like music that moves you. I have been in several different bands and all have been originals and that is what I am still wanting to do. Looking for others who have practiced their craft and been around the block with a work ethic that makes you proud to show off your skills. Being able to jam is a big deal to me. Not the typical 12 bar blues or Phish/Grateful Dead way. Those have their place, but I am searching for those who really listen. Who know when their part is needed for a song and when to kick back and let those who are in the rift take the wheel for a second. I truly believe writing music is like a conversation and no one likes the one who is monopolizing the conversation, right? Hopefully there are some out there who will understand this gibberish, and if you do, I hope you contact me!
