Begin touring at age 12. Have toured over 40 countries and released over 100 recordings. My last recording “Short Stories” received best jazz record of the year in 2016 by the New York Jazz Record and four and a half stars in Downbeat. I have played and recorded every style of music. I also have a fully equipped studio. I can lay down any type of groove you want using my own sampled drum set. Of course, I also play acoustic drums as well. Influences
My first set of drums were given to me when I was 11 years old by Alvin Jones. I studied with him and Stan Koor for seven years before entering when the Manhattan school of music. After graduation I began playing in different groups in New York City and Europe. Of course, other influence include Steve Gadd and then Vinny. As well as hundreds of more drummer’s and other instrumentalists. I also have a background in classical music. As well as being a composer.
