ABOUT

Antoine “Tut” Stewart is an accomplished bass player in many genres of music. His bass solo EP “String Talk” has been well received among the biggest names in Jazz music and currently has three tracks on the N1M Jazz Charts. He has served as bass player for many different Gospel and R&B artists. Tut is currently playing and serving in the United States - Louisiana Army National Guard 156th Band and has to quickly master many types of music. When his term is complete, he hopes to concentrate on live and studio performance. He can play all genres and takes particular enjoyment from Gospel and Jazz music. He is always interested in bettering himself in every area of his life. He takes his music very seriously and properly prepares for every gig and performance and rehearsal.

In addition to composing and performing, Tut also teaches bass both locally and via his on-line program. He also feels that community outreach for musicians is very important and puts on a Musicians United Conference/Clinic every year. It is open to all musicians and is a great way for them to network. Every Sunday he plays at his local church and gives thanks to God for his blessed life.

Tut is a Natchitoches, Louisiana native and began playing bass in high school. He has been passionate about music ever since.
