ABOUT

I like a little bit of everything when it comes to music. I've been singing in a 60's era rock cover band for the last 2 years, soaking up all I can. I know songs from bands like:

The Beatles
The Doors
Steppenwolf
Cream
The Lemon Pipers
The Rolling Stones
Buffalo Springfield
The Animals
Santana
Jimi Hendrix
Mamas and the Papas

And many more. My vocals are very close to the original artist.

I'd like to form a second group with a bit more... noise. A rock cover group with songs from artists like:

Queens of the Stone Age
Soundgarden
Alice in Chains
Alter Bridge
Guns n' Roses
Pearl Jam
Stone Temple Pilots
Shinedown
Rage Against the Machine

The bands and songs are completely negotiable... good music is good music. :)

I'd like to play out at much as possible, with a group of hard-working, like-minded people. I want to strive for a high level of accuracy, but not absolute perfection. I feel that communication skills, a sense of humor and patience are vital to any group's success.

Influences

Vocalists:

Myles Kennedy - Alter Bridge
Chris Robinson - Black Crowes
Brent Smith - Shinedown
Layne Staley - Alice in Chains
Chris Cornell - Soundgarden, Audioslave

This list is really much longer and more expansive. I love singers who have a dynamic sound; powerful, controlled. I think versatility is really important too. No sense in being stuck in one genre forever, right?
