Hey everyone, guitarist here looking for another guitarist to jam with but wouldn't mind finding a group to play with as well. Mainly interested in just having fun and eventually playing some small gigs at local pubs or open mics and that sort of thing. I play both acoustic and electric and can do rhythm and lead. I've been playing since I was about 7, and can definitely hang in a jam and improvise a solo, but am certainly not expert level by any means. I'm just out of grad school and won't be working for a few months, so my availability has opened up a bit.

Influences
Let's see if I can explain this - I like melodic songs that are both upbeat as well as mellow. As long as it sounds good and is fun to play, that's what I like. My style is kind of a mixture between acoustic Incubus and John Mayer, if that makes any sense. I like to add bluesy/rock flares to my lead guitar. I'll play a variety of music.
