Hi! I'm Arcie (or AJ), and I'm a session musician, producer, and engineer based in NYC.

I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old and by the time I entered 7th grade, I became passionate enough to consider a career playing music. I attended the Special Music School as a high school student studying jazz guitar. Although much of my formal training was based in jazz, I became familiar with a variety of styles such as funk, indie rock, folk, hip/hop and R&B. As a student, I've played venues such as Merkin Hall, The Bitter End, The Jazz Gallery, and Carnegie Hall.

I recently graduated from the Sonic Arts Center, an audio engineering program. There, I was able to hone my production, recording, and composition skills. My goal is to combine my experience as a session musician with my ever-growing knowledge in production and recording/engineering.
