hey y’all. owned a guitar for 25 years, been ok for fifteen and gotten serious for the last three. just started workin with a teacher to get a better grasp on theory.
i’ve never seriously played with other people and would like to play with someone who also hasn’t or someone who wouldn’t mind helping me get some practice.
i own a decent amount of other used string instruments i like playing around on. if you wanna try a fiddle, mandolin, banjo or resonator i’d love to trade instruments and mess around.

Influences
i play a lot of rodrigo y gabriela as like a comfort practice mostly the rodrigo parts but i don’t use a pick and would happily learn gabriela’s part if you wanna lead. my taste is really varied. lots of the blues classics, some more niche than others, recently exploring jazz because i just don’t understand it and that excites me. metal, flamenco, heavy into folk especially folk punk. regular punk, a fair amount of pop still gets me going.
bumpin’ uglies, bad religion, bad brains, bb king, beck, barrington levvy, baroque which died with bach,

EQUIPMENT
violin, mandolin, resonator, banjo, several (collection growing) harmonicas including a chromatic i can’t really play yet, otamatone.
i’ve got a compressor mic hooked up to a UA and slowly learning ableton, but i’m still really just looking to jam unless something feels right. (holy shit i just realized this is tinder.)
