Influences
I started out listening to metal bands, ranging from black sabbath to metallica, and then eventually became really blues oriented and started incorporating a lot of hendrix/stevie ray Vaughn, bb king, joe bonamassa type of style into my playing. Ive also developed a fascination with hybrid picking and chicken picking, such as that of Johnny highland, albert lee and zakk wylde, so I use that in my playing a lot. I'm a speed/alternate picker at heart but have since learned to incorporate economy picking, sweeping, legato and jazz phrasing.
