Hi, I’m Art, and I’m looking to join an existing band or create a new band. I’ve been listening to a wide variety of music my whole life in English and Spanish. I would be comfortable in the following genres: Rock, Hard Rock/Metal, Country, Folk/Americana, Norteño, Conjunto, RnB, Soul and Boleros. I would also be interested in dipping my toes into experimental music.
I’m mostly interested in doing original material, but I would consider playing covers or doing a tribute act if the songs, mission statement, and professionalism are good. My last musical project was covers for bars, parties, and private events.
My forte is vocals. I feel that is my best instrument, so that’s where I would prefer to be. I can play guitar and bass as my second strongest instruments. With any instrument, I play with passion, focus, and determination to do the music justice.
Another artistic direction I’m starting to work on is media and content creation. Playing music would give me the ability to add this to a potential project.
My free time is valuable to me, and I respect other people’s time. Any endeavor I pursue would mean time away from my family, so I’m punctual and focused, and I’m looking for the same in return. I’m not interested in touring unless the stars align with the right conditions, and I do not use substances. Influences
Life is not one-dimensional to me, so my playlist can go from Mariachi to Death Metal to Jazz to Pop to Country. There’s a wide variety of instrumentalists who influence my playing.
For guitar, my influences are George Harrison, Ihsahn, Willie Nelson, Bill Withers, Chuck Schuldiner, Noel Hogan, John Fogerty, Jose Feliciano, Paul Masvidal and Alex Lifeson.
Influences on bass are Paul McCartney, Geezer Butler, Sabo Romo, Steve DiGiorgio, James Jamerson, Paul Spencer Denman and Steve Harris.
My vocal influences are Jose Jose, Maxwell, Matthew Barlow, Willie Nelson, Michael Akerfeldt, Bill Withers, Gustavo Cerati, Bruce Dickinson, Marty Robbins, Roy Orbinson and Sade.

EQUIPMENT
For both guitar and bass, I have varying levels of gear available. If I play a small venue or a concert, I have working professional rigs for both instruments. For vocals I have a full PA which includes 2 mains, 2 subs, 2 floor monitors, mixer, microphone and in-ear monitors.
