Vocalist, Keyboard.

10/4/22: We are spinning up a cover band: Primarily 'keep em on the dance floor' classic rock/southern rock party-type music you would generally hear at any social function or dance bar (receptions/birthday parties/auctions, The Lime etc).

We are currently seeking a keyboard player. Would be great if you can sing - but not a deal breaker. We have lead vocals, lead/rhythm guitar (me), drums, and bass. All musicians are advanced, experienced, and committed; and we expect the same from band members.

Time commitment:
Rehearsals: 1x/week; usually Thur nights for two hours 7:30-9:30. We expect people to learn their part at home, then rehearsals are for integration and polishing on arrangement.

Gigs: Limiting to ONE gig/month. Maybe an extra one occasionally if its a good opportunity. We are busy with life and work. We view this as more of a relaxing side activity, not a way of life or to make any money.

Rehearsal space: We have a good place to rehearse and all equipment. Goal is to spin up 50 songs or so by around Christmas time 2022 and start gigging ASAP once we get enough songs for a show. We have a pretty focused set-list developed - so now its just a matter of putting it all together.

As far as my personal background: I am a solid journeyman guitar/bass player. Covered all of the mainstream classic 60s/70s/80s rock guitar hero's and still do. In last four years I have built skill around the Nashville country rock genre.

Most recently played 7 years in a rock/funk/punk/pop cover band that was gigging regularly. I also put together a country rock project during COVID that folded.

Can sing backup vocals, but only medium skill there.

I love to play for the crowd. My goal is always to send them home drained and entertained.

Not into metal/thrash/punk/techno. Not super interested in originals or sound track production.
