Artifact is a Chicago-based band founded in 2015 by seasoned musicians. Drawing upon
each members diverse experience and influences, the band blends genres to deliver
compelling original music that resonates with the listener. Songs skillfully crafted with a
focus on strong rhythms, passionate vocals and engaging storytelling.

Hi!

We've recently lost our bass player and are looking to fill the position. The band is a 3 piece with a vocalist and relies heavily on that bass!

We're a group of guys that are easy going and attitude free. We're not looking for a new career (have that already!), but we do take pride in our music and enjoy putting in the effort to be good at it. We're seeking a musician who has the same mindset, pro gear (bass & amp) and previous band experience.

Band Members: Three middle aged musicians (Guitar, Drums, Vocals)

Music: Rock, Blues and Funk inspired originals (no covers)

Practice Schedule: We make our best effort to fit in 2 practices a week with the understanding that sometimes its not possible due to other commitments (family, work, etc.). Practice occurs on Mo, Tu, We, or Th from 8 - 10 PM. We try to avoid weekend practice.

Practice Location: Private space close to intersection of W. Foster Ave and N. Elston Ave in Chicago. 60630 zip code.

Gigs: Trying to work our way up to once a month (in city and surrounding areas)

Recording: YES. Let's get that done too.

Fun: Yes. Come on!

Songs: 20 originals with more in queue

Sample Tracks: Tracks have been added to our bandmix profile (Recorded during practice)

Bonus: This is not a must have, but if you happen to sing backing vocals be sure to let us know!
