ABOUT

ALICE SWEET ALICE is seeking serious killer guitarist(s) (preferably with bass playing ability as well) for live shows and imminent tour (probably regional and European). Not looking to go on long tours, but looking for long-term, creative, committed and serious collaborators to make the band 3D. We have 2 albums out with worldwide distribution and a widening fan base, especially in Europe.

Must be willing and able to travel, have pro gear, and a diverse palate. As far as guitar is concerned; we're looking for innovativeness, creativity, occasional use of a wah pedal and occasional EXPLOSIVE bursts of inspiration and passion.

PLEASE, no country bumpkins and those who are into country exclusively. You must have a clue as to who most of our references are. This is rock music with funk and soul we like to call "Electropostpunkadelic" (some may consider some of it slightly metal). Some have compared us to Pink Floyd & The Doors, Smashing Pumpkins, English gothic alternative bands, My Bloody Valentine, Portishead, Joy Division and Dead Can Dance.

AGAIN!!! IT IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED YOU VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND LISTEN FIRST BEFORE CONTACTING! (Please?)

We will give you directions to our North Kansas City rehearsal space at that time.

Thanks for looking!!!

BY THE WAY, we sound all business (and yeah, we are serious, but we are also really fun to hang with !!!) :) Thanks for your interest.
