Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
Always looking for new musicians to jam with!
I played in a community band from the age of 13 - 19. The symphonic band's repertoire was immense and diverse in genre. Rock, jazz, concertos, movie score, orchestral pieces that had been arranged for a symphonic band, and many others.
During high school I arranged two pieces for Symphonic band, "Dovahkiin" - Jeremy Soule, "Supremacy" - MUSE. Here is the name of the video to search for the performance of "Dovahkiin" on You Tube. [Song starts at 6:00 minutes] I played the Alto Saxophone for this song. The nerdy kid with glasses and what looks like a bowl cut... Times have changed, haha.
( Roseville High School - Joint middle school concert )
I learned the song by ear with an acoustic guitar and wrote out the notation in Finale 2012.
At the age of 16 I joined a semi-professional jazz orchestra called Moonlight Swing, a Glenn Miller tribute band. I played the baritone sax chair, which required me to play both lead and support alto sax, and lead and support clarinet. "Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue."
After moving from Sacramento to the Bay Area, I left Moonlight Swing and temporarily joined the San Jose Metropolitan Band on clarinet, playing third chair. At the time I had a conflicting schedule with a job, which is why I had to leave the band so soon, but that is no longer an issue.
After being in the Bay Area for a couple of years, I played with a metal band called Silaquid. We had some fun and rocked some venues, but it came to an end. I also played with a funk group called LordRifa for a little over a year. I wouldn't call it funk exactly, though... Hahaha an interesting combination of sounds and influences that came together to make a tight groove and sometimes loose, sometimes stanky, a little bit of everything.
Recently I have been experimenting with some synthesizers I had the fortune of coming across. Creating with no boundaries has been my main goal. No rules, no limitation, free and whatever the hell comes out.

Stories Of A Song: The Mother
Stories Of A Song: The MotherRecorded this over a year ago when I was in a very different head space. When I was learning to be connected to the Earth through music. To tell stories through song. This song is about the end of humanity due to the destruction of the Earth.

EarlyMorningBreeze
EarlyMorningBreezeThe Earth was awakened from her slumber by an incessant poking at the back of her mind. She had forgotten to lock up the virus. She had forgotten the most dangerous option. Her mouth was dry as cotton. A drink, she was in need. The waters were too polluted and there was nowhere to feed. Her children had forgotten, forcefully, how to cultivate the forests, farmlands, and seas, for sustainable needs. Brain washing deep in veins, steepest of terrain, which humans contain. The root rot has gone on for too long. Rewind? Nah. Can't be undone. What was the other option? That's impossible, surely probable, but it can't be unstoppable? What is there left to do but wait? Heaven and hell in a debate. Catastrophic desires paired with suicidal tendencies is a matrimony made for destruction. Explosion at the right time to ignite the rise of the new light. Early morning sigh, never mind. Nobody listens... So I sit and watch the dew glisten.

Waiting For The End (A New Beginning)
Waiting For The End (A New Beginning)I came to a huge realization on new year's day. Music is the love of my life. The sound of the moon especially. But it's hard to top sunny birds!

On The Inside
On The InsideLet me take you outside. Step into my heart and mind to find peace and light balancing darkness and fright. We are the Earth and she is us. Let us share the beauty she lovingly gives to all, for we are her children, birthed from matrimony with the sun. Thank you for all you give mother and father. Tixarat kai pire. Uxarat kai pire. Xata xuwelo let iyu. (Every sound is a synthesizer.)

Nonsensical (Blue Beneath, Feeling Green)
Nonsensical (Blue Beneath, Feeling Green)Rediscovering roots is how we grow Wade through the pool that we know Hear the passage of water as we row Then the aqua beneath starts to glow We peer inside the glistening stream Everything may not be as it seems But perspective is the key to this dream I see compassion be our theme The community suffering the people they cried Minorities suppressed and pushed aside I see the world, why would water lie? We could be living with infinity in our lives Instead we die trying to lie We don't live, no light in our eyes No time to appreciate this life Don't want this to be the last sunrise Political, historical we grow comical the trivial individual rules everyone it's nonsensical But we can change the range of rage and fade into the peaceful ventricle We are the heart and the glue to our destiny The mother is every part of you and every part of me We'll find a way to unite through the wind and the trees This is how we can re-establish the peace

Skeleton Octopus Metamorphosis (CBRofP)
Skeleton Octopus Metamorphosis (CBRofP)You have been chosen to watch the descent from grace This once holy place, still remains, molested by two-faced, false domains, A land so pure and whole being abducted by greedy souls, Darkness disgraced, fame defaced, hate replaced You're far from the start, continue, listen to your heart You've come so far from the seed I placed in the dark Feel the beating in your chest, remember when you're depressed I will always be beside you, at your worst and at your best You dream both of life and of death, the decay within our every breath You taste the fruit both bitter and sweet, the waters, the animals, and all the rest Time unending, universe sending messages of what comes next A cautionary tale for those who believe they know best There is no one way to live in harmony with the song of love It is your uniqueness in this moment that makes it special Face your fears, release your tears, open your mind and your ears The cost of beauty is pain, imagine Aphrodite healing to ascend above You're far from the start, continue, listen to your heart You've come so far from the seed I placed in the dark Feel the beating in your chest, remember when you're depressed I will always be beside you, at your worst and at your best
