**Versatile guitarist and multiple instrumentalist **
20 years of experience.
Able to follow and read music. Have played in multiple orchestras, bands, and theater companies. Can 'shred' but am also able to hold a tight rhythm section and is a careful interpreter of 'finer' styles such as classical or finger-style jazz
Looking for reliable musicians with talent and a plan. I am flexible with all styles but specialize in rock/alternative/progressive.

My guitar playing is multifaceted.
My lead style tends to lean heavy with obvious influences of Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Hammett, Randy Rhodes, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. There are hints of jazz taken primarily from greats like Joe Pass, Victor Wooten, Al Dimeola, and Django Reinhardt. My more advanced techniques stem directly from Steve Vai, John Petrucci, and Yngwie Malmsteen.
My rhythm style is layered. I can gallop 250 bmp thrash alongside Slayer and Metallica without breaking a sweat and roll some nice finger-style Americana and country acoustic guitar.
I am also a pianist and have many other influences that have shaped me as a musician. I am heavily classical in my playing with my main influences being J.S Bach, L.W. Beethoven, F. Chopin, W.A. Mozart, and Glenn Gould.
Other artists that have heavily influenced me are Drive By-Truckers, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams The Mars Volta, Pantera, Operation Ivy, Rancid, NoFx, BigWig, The Beatles, The Who, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Robert Johnson, 90's alternative (a-la Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots etc.), Paco De Lucia, and Stanley Jordan
This is not exhaustive of everything but just a few things that have crept into my style.
