I've been playing music for 25 years and have played tenor and baritone sax, drums, a little guitar, and a few other things less seriously. I have been playing bass on and off for a few years now and have finally found my calling.
I don't do this professionally, but am practicing 2-4 hours a day, 6-7 days a week (the practice question below I'm answering in the context of band practice).
Pretty solid foundation in music theory, fwiw. Beginning sight reading in bass clef (I can do it, just *slowly*)
I am looking for people that know how to have fun. We can jam, we can gig, we can do whatever.. but this is supposed to be enjoyable. No hard drugs or people that let the smoke get in the way of the music, no drama, no ego.
I'll have some songs up in a month or so when I get my recording gear in and set up (ordering this weekend). In the meantime, if you are interested, drop me a line with a few songs from your setlist and I'll send a mic'd track demo track back to you.

Sorry about the quality and slight time sync issue. I don't have any real recording equipment yet (ordering next week), but wanted to get something out there for people to listen to.

Sorry again for the slight off-timings between the bass and the song. I haven't quite figured out how to sync them.
